E-transfer is the key component of School Education Department’s well-thought-out automation drive, allowing the teachers to apply for transfer online through their mobile phones. This real-time, online system has successfully replaced the outdated and traditional process of transfers which was highly dependent on officials and marred with political interference.

 

On E-Transfer platform, teachers have access to individual transfer applications, sanctioned posts at each school, score calculation formula, wait-lists, and post-based transfer eligibility making the system simpler, efficient and transparent for all. Applicants receive updates on their mobile phones whereas wait-lists and generation of final transfer orders are also automated with no human intervention.

 

In 4 phases of E-Transfer thus far, more than 30,000 teachers have got transferred, both across and within districts, based entirely on merit. Teachers no longer have to move around different offices and enormous savings in time, cost, and hassle has been registered. Through E-Transfer, School Education Department seeks to play a pioneering role in use of technology for improved service delivery in Public sector.
